Richard Hayes, professionally known as Flo, is a Chicago-based photographer specializing in portrait, concert, and lifestyle photography. Recognized for capturing high-energy moments and raw, authentic emotion, his work brings out the energy and atmosphere of every scene he steps into.
Richard’s passion for photography was reignited in 2023 after being inspired by Chicago’s car culture. With a Lumix G7 in hand, he began exploring the world through his lens. Though photography was always present in his life, most of his skills were developed through self-teaching, experimenting with gear, learning online, and collaborating with fellow creatives.
His entry into concert photography started with a local show for Your Stepdad, where he brought his Lumix G7 and captured moments that quickly gained attention. Since then, he’s had the opportunity to work with artists such as G Herbo, MAF Teeski, Star Bandz, and many others, continuing to build a portfolio that reflects the pulse of Chicago’s music and creative scene
